run the show.

well nothing really out of the ordinary has happened in the past week. Been getting lazier and lazier by the day of course. I can't even bring myself to start on the Michael Crichton book Jie helped me borrow from the library. Oops. Though I think even if I was still in the internship programme, I would be even more bored everyday. That said after inside information has been leaked out to me. haha.

Didn't feel too good on saturday. So pretty much clambered through training trying to stand up straight. It wasn't too bad initially.. but it gradually worsened. Well last friday, May came over to the courts with all the stuff she got from her trip to Shanghai to watch the Masters Cup. She brought the Feder-bear. haha. Don't fancy stuffed toys though.

anyway. was way too bored after staying home all day on sunday other than trying out "e black board" which has been featured rather frequently in the papers for their affordable western food. Though they're known for their ribeye steak I didn't order that since I don't fancy steak. Well, I guess it's pretty much over rated. over perhaps I simply ordered the wrong item on the menu. So anyway, decided I wanted to get out of the house to window shop a little. So headed for orchard on Mon.. met Irina after her training. So we walked around a little.

Well it poured pretty heavily so we got stranded at taka when our intended destination was Heeren. So we took a chance and braved the rain to the traffic junction at Heeren. When we were about to cross, this stupid car drove by and all the water flowed to where we were crossing. so naturally, our shoes got drenched through. Irina was saying there was water sloshing around in her shoes.

Had been having quite alot of trouble with organising the J2 farewell. Think we changed the venue umpteen times. Well so we finally settled on Marmalade Pantry and Palais Renaiisance. Hope it's nice. Perhaps i spelt the place wrongly. Bout 22 of us I should think. Dee came over to pick up for photos for printing just now after training in school. Training was too slack I think. Well ernest and zhiwei were being pervertic guys raving about how girls' legs should be. Then it dawned on me that to some guys, physically speaking, the face doesnt really matter as long as she doesn't make one puke. -.- well. kinda odd if you ask me. So basically only had training today.. then went home n rested.

hey i just realised there was a "step up" dance competition held online. Found out since I was browsing youtube for this video. There are numerous videos of random people dancing to this song to submit it for the online competition. Hm. You guys could browse youtube if you want to take a look at their routines or something.

Irina and me after club tennis dinner

well i can't give too much details.. but anyway i had my first day of internship yesterday and for those who are close enough to me to know WHERE at, yeah. Well.. it was tiring. Stood for 7 hours on end. And did mostly serving and clearing. It was alright i guess. But, the supervisor didn't even remember what Winnie and i were there for. He thought we were there to interview him for a project! Well. But we were then given the attire and started work as servers. There was a whole lot of puffin' going around though. Winnie said she thinks our chances of getting lung cancer has probably tripled after yesterday. Shan't elaborate too much. Well at least morning was nice :)

Played tennis at school this morning and submitted the letter. Denise left her racket with Pin Quan and since Pin Quan isn't around today, she had no racket. So she borrowed Ellery's "kong" racket. "Ancient" in Allery's words. But he was nice enough to offer to swap and let Denise use his present racket but she declined. Well, at least he has a nice hot pink grip for his "ancient" racket. So Denise was playing with a "kong" racket and I was playing with a plastered finger. Our set was pretty funny.

Somehow staying at home so often makes me feel like I am not living this holiday to the fullest. When I'm at home, my mind always seems to wander off to what I could be doing. Perhaps a fulfilling internship/work attachment, livin' it up watching as many movies as i want and just enjoying night walks along clarke quay or esplanade, cycling at East Coast, trying to retrieve my (hopefully I'm wrong) lost skill of rollerblading, going to Sentosa etc. Well there are a few more. But i guess staying at home is nice too. Help mum out wherever I can, be more in touch with everything going on around at home since schools makes me rather busy. It really depends on how I perceive it I guess. Tennis is all that's keeping me from becoming a lump of useless..junk. Well, whatever it is I'll just be glad with whatever I've done and will be doing.

Because it's the holidays. And there ain't no reason to be a grouch :)

Had the club tennis dinner on Sunday evening. The food was surprisingly good! Normal catered food but good. Irina got the red tennis bag she needed and I got some strings and a cap. They're thinking of organising friendlies with other clubs or organisations so we shall see.

Watched Bond on Monday. Have to say it's a pretty complex show. Too many baddies. Daniel Craig isn't that bad as Bond. just an atypical one that's all. Enough bout all the reviews raving about his hot bod making the girls go wild because I sure didn't. Well then again. I almost never do.

I want an ntour two. And red hidden socks. And.. ok I should stop before I get carried away :)

alright a short update... had tennis meeting in the morn yesterday at sch.. before heading to cine..it was pouring when we reached somerset!! so.. haha. in a dilemma if i should bother yanking out the brolley. haha but well.. it saved our lives. sorta ;). anyway we caught a movie..step up :).. it was a pretty good show! cliche yes.. but well. i like tt genre of shows anyway. though i dont really know how to classify them. i feel deprived of movies!!! heh. aw well. anyway had lunch before the movie.. than after that we walked down orchard..all the bright christmasy lights and decorations are up! im sure it looks better at night. though its pretty much the same every year, but christmas's still my favourite season. tis' the season for lovin'! haha. well basically an awesome day yea :)

these few days hav been wet.. had training today.. met parents at republic plaza before heading for dinner.. then making a short stop at queensway. irina meant to get her tennis bag.. but the new colour isnt in yet. soon though. haha but she got SHOES. mannn. the red version of my current tennis shoes. reminiscent of my previous serena williams shoe. i still remembered the first time i wore that pair, n stepped out of tkgs classrm for the first time into the corridor, i heard a hail "wahhh.talk about patriotism!!" haha cant remember who. but it was a few schmates. lol.

well gotta head down to cine to meet my mentor 2mr.whoo.im bursting with excitement.

well was supposed to hav somethin scheduled this mornin but i turned up n realised there was MISCOMMUNICATION. so.. well i had lets say 2 hours to spend? haha. but i was with irina. so it was alright. it was way too early though.. as much as how convenient the location was so we could hang around tm, it was 9am in the mornin. so we wandered around a lil.. explored some xmas decorations! haha. since irene wanted to get her hair cut n the salon only opened at 11. n i discovered my phone if put on speaker, the line will not get cut off when i slide it shut. haha. cos i was talking on the speaker n slid it shut cos of thought she was done talking. turned out she wasnt. so irina n i gasped when i slid it shut. n the other party was like "why? why? what happen? saw a cute guy??" wahahaha. mann. i didnt even realise how my phone works. how retarded is tt.

anyway. we had prata to satisfy those hunger pangs. haha ok so it was my craving. just as we were tucking into our pratas.. i saw a lady being carried onto the nearby sofa.. n she was having a fit.. it was really disturbing.. n depressing.. watching how everyone was around looking worried.. n they had to put a spoon in her mouth to prevent her from biting her tongue. I guess i havent really seen someone having a fit before.. it was really disturbing.. n depressing. till the paramedics came.. she was still having a fit.. i dont know wat exactly was flashing through my mind. but.. irene n i were still visibly shaken after observing the whole incident. seeing how the security guards.. n the manager were sincerely concerned for the lady.. n how the security guard was stroking her forehead, n her colleague was holding her hands.. trying to calm her down.. be there for her. well.. made me think. Singaporeans really arent that bad. there are some good ppl out there.

well irena got her hair cut n i got my fringe trimmed since it was straggling over half my face. satisfied irina's craving to window shop a lil.. then headed home. ran into lotsa of ex-classmates.. schmates here n there.. yeah.

well the past few days.. hav been pretty eventful i guess. the team made a collective decision after much discussion.. 5 hours there about? well. it was sad though. i gotta admit. we had lunch at siglap before the meeting too. stupid siglap branch has lousy service. never gonna patronise their branch again.
